AI Software Validation Intern Location: Bangalore (On-site)
Duration: 2-3 Months Internship later convert to FTE based on performance About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated AI Software Validation Intern with strong Python programming skills to help build the testing and validation infrastructure for computer vision and AI-based systems. This role goes beyond traditional software testing. The intern will work on developing automated test frameworks, tools, and validation platforms that evaluate the performance, reliability, and robustness of AI models running on embedded hardware platforms. You will work closely with engineers developing embedded computer vision applications such as ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition), safety monitoring systems, and industrial analytics. Key Responsibilities Test Framework Development • Design and develop Python-based automated test frameworks for validating AI and computer vision systems. • Build tools that automate test execution, result collection, and performance analysis. • Create scripts to validate AI model outputs against expected results. Test Platform & Tool Development • Develop utilities for dataset management, annotation verification, and result comparison. • Build tools that generate test scenarios and evaluate edge cases. • Create automation pipelines to run validation on multiple datasets and hardware platforms. AI Model Validation • Validate AI models used in applications • Develop metrics and evaluation tools for accuracy, robustness, and performance benchmarking. Data & Result Analysis • Build Python tools to analyze model outputs and generate validation reports and visualizations. • Compare results across different model versions and optimization pipelines. Skills Required Must Have • Strong Python programming skills • Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals • Experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV, Pandas • Ability to design modular scripts and reusable tools • Familiarity with Git and Linux environments Good to Have • Exposure to Computer Vision or Machine Learning • Experience with YOLO / object detection models • Experience building automation frameworks or developer tools • Understanding of Docker or containerized environments What You Will Learn This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in building engineering tools used in real AI product development.
