Software Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Software Support Specialist with SQL experience to join our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot application issues, analyze data, and work directly with customers and internal teams to resolve technical problems efficiently. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, customer communication skills, and hands-on experience querying databases to investigate and resolve software issues. Key Responsibilities • Provide Tier 1–2 software support via phone, email, and ticketing system • Troubleshoot application, data, and user-reported issues • Write and execute SQL queries to investigate data discrepancies and system errors • Analyze logs and database records to identify root causes • Document findings, resolutions, and reproducible steps • Escalate complex issues to development or engineering teams with detailed analysis • Assist with data corrections and reporting as needed • Support software updates, testing, and user acceptance validation • Maintain internal knowledge base documentation Required Qualifications • 1–3+ years of experience in software or technical support • Working knowledge of SQL • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users Preferred Qualifications • Basic understanding of APIs or integrations • Familiarity with database structure and relational data models • Experience reviewing application logs • Exposure to basic scripting or automation Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Application Question(s): • How many years of experience do you have using SQL in a professional environment? • Which databases have you worked with? • Rate your SQL proficiency Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Language: • English (Preferred) Location: • Calicut, Kerala (Required) Work Location: In person
