Backend Developer (Node.js/TypeScript) — Full-Time (India)

Experience: 1+ Years Employment Type: Full-time / Contract (as applicable) Location: On-site About the Role We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript who can design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building APIs, working with databases, and deploying backend services on cloud platforms. You’ll work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to build reliable and secure systems that power real-world applications. Key Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js ● Build and maintain RESTful APIs with clean architecture and best practices ● Work with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization ● Use Prisma ORM for database modeling, migrations, and efficient data access ● Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control ● Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability ● Integrate third-party APIs and services when required ● Deploy and manage backend services on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure or similar) ● Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Skills ● 1+ years of professional experience in backend development ● Strong proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript ● Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js ● Solid understanding of RESTful API design ● Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database concepts ● Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) ● Hands-on experience with Prisma ORM ● Experience with Redis, queues, or background jobs ● Understanding of scalable backend architectures ● Familiarity with cloud services and deployment workflows ● Experience working with Git and version control systems Good to Have (Bonus Skills) ● Experience with Docker and containerization ● Knowledge of event-driven workflows using Apache Kafka ● Knowledge of microservices architecture ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines ● Basic understanding of security best practices (JWT, OAuth, encryption) ● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments What We’re Looking For ● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills ● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code ● Ownership mindset — someone who can take responsibility for backend systems ● Good communication and collaboration skills ● Passion for building high-quality products Why Join Us? ● Work on real, production-grade systems ● Opportunity to grow into a senior backend or system architect role ● Flexible work environment ● Competitive compensation based on skills and experience ● Learn and work with modern backend technologies Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month Advantages: - Paid sick time - Paid time off - Work from home Work Location: In person
