Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Puttur for a Healthcare Specialist. The Healthcare Specialist will provide direct healthcare support and services to students, including first-aid care and medical attention for common illnesses. Responsibilities will include training students in basic health and first-aid practices, conducting health check-ups, fostering healthcare awareness, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment within the school. Collaboration with teachers, staff, and community healthcare resources will also be integral to this role. Qualifications • Proficiency in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) procedures and general medicine practices • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey healthcare information and training • Experience in training others on basic health practices and first-aid education • A solid background or understanding in the healthcare field • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare or medical field preferred • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment and engage with children • Knowledge of rural health challenges or experience in public health is an added advantage
