General Production Operator

Job Description General Operative Duties In This Instance Could Include • Operate and monitor production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines. • Perform tasks required on the line, including assembling components, handling materials, and finishing works. • Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the supervisor. Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards. • Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, conveyors, or trucks manually or using material handling equipment. • Complete production and quality logs, maintain accurate records of work performed and report production metrics as required. • Adhere to safety regulations and wear protective equipment as required. Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to the supervisor. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning machinery and disposing of waste materials properly. • Perform overtime over the weekend and public holiday when required. Job Requirement • Minimum SPM Qualification or Technical / Vocational Diploma / Certificate or equivalent. • Preferred experience is manufacturing or production environment. • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes. • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and company policies. • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. • Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery. • Ability to carry physical works. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor in various conditions (hot, dusty, wet and noisy). • This role required you to work on rotating shifts. • Able to work overtime (if required). • Average command of English. • Possess own transport.
