Job Title French Annotation Specialist / French Language Annotator Role Summary The French Annotation Specialist plays a key role in preparing high-quality annotated datasets in the French language for AI / ML applications. This role ensures precise and culturally accurate annotation of text / audio / video content to support NLP, speech recognition, content moderation, and AI model training initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Linguistic Annotation & Quality • Annotate and label French text, audio, and / or video content according to project guidelines. • Categorize, tag, and structure data for NLP tasks, including entities, intents, sentiment, speech segments, etc. • Transcribe and edit French media (audio / video) into accurate written text with correct grammar, syntax, and structure. • Ensure annotations adhere to annotation schema and tooling standards. • Accuracy & Consistency • Maintain high accuracy and linguistic integrity in annotated outputs. • Perform quality checks, revisions, and error corrections. • Work with QA leads to resolve annotation discrepancies. • Collaboration & Process Adherence • Communicate with project managers for clarification on annotation rules or content issues. • Follow internal annotation best practices and data security protocols (privacy, confidentiality). • Delivery & Timelines • Complete annotation tasks within agreed deadlines, maintaining consistently high standards. Required Skills & Qualifications • Language & Communication • Fluency in French (written & spoken) — excellent grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. • Strong command of French linguistics and idiomatic usage. • Technical Annotation Skills • Prior experience in annotation, transcription, or linguistic labeling (text / audio / video). • Comfortable using annotation tools and platforms (training provided as needed). • Attention to Detail • High attention to detail with strong commitment to accuracy. • Team Collaboration • Effective communicator with a proactive attitude to ask questions and resolve issues.
