Grade 1 Teacher

A Grade 1 teacher's job involves educating and nurturing young students, typically ages 6-7, in a classroom setting, focusing on academic subjects like reading, writing, math, and science, while also fostering social and emotional development. This role requires creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, communicating with parents, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a positive and effective learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Instruction and Curriculum: • Delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in various subjects. • Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with school standards and curriculum. • Using diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. • Assessment and Evaluation: • Regularly assessing student progress through various methods, including tests, quizzes, and assignments. • Monitoring student performance and adjusting instruction accordingly. • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. • Classroom Management: • Creating and maintaining a safe, organized, and positive learning environment. • Enforcing classroom rules and procedures. • Supervising students to ensure their well-being and safety. • Communication and Collaboration: • Communicating with parents about their child's progress, both positive and challenging aspects. • Participating in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress. • Collaborating with other teachers, administrators, and support staff. • Student Support: • Providing individualized support to students with varying learning needs. • Addressing student behavior issues and promoting positive social-emotional development. • Encouraging student participation in various educational activities Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.50 - ₹25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
