Role Overview We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of experience who can design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects, and deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and SEO-friendly websites. Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins. • Customize themes (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.) based on client requirements. • Work on both informative and eCommerce (WooCommerce) websites. • Ensure mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, and optimized performance. • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and CRM tools when required. • Implement basic SEO (metadata, schema, sitemap, speed optimization). • Handle website migrations, backups, and hosting configurations (cPanel, AWS, Hostinger, etc.). • Troubleshoot website issues, plugin conflicts, and security vulnerabilities. • Collaborate with designers, content writers, and project managers for project delivery. • Maintain proper documentation and version control of projects. Required Skills • Proficiency in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, and MySQL. • Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi. • Familiarity with WooCommerce setup and customization. • Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization tools (e.g., LiteSpeed, WP Rocket, Cloudflare). • Understanding of Git, FTP, and hosting environments. • Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail. Good to Have • Experience with custom post types and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields). • Knowledge of Shopify, React.js, or headless WordPress (bonus). • Understanding of UI/UX principles.
