ob Description Position: Dentist Department: Dental / Clinical Support Location: Oncure Cancer Care Centre Reports To: Medical Director / Operations Manager Job Summary The Dentist is responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and oral health issues of patients. The role includes providing preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care while maintaining high standards of patient safety and hygiene. The dentist will also support cancer patients who require dental evaluation before or during oncology treatment. Key Responsibilities1. Patient Consultation • Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and oral tissues. • Diagnose dental problems and plan appropriate treatment. • Provide dental advice and preventive care guidance. 2. Dental Treatment • Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and cleaning. • Treat oral infections and dental pain. • Provide treatment plans and follow-up care. 3. Oncology Patient Support • Conduct dental screening for cancer patients before chemotherapy or radiation therapy. • Manage oral health complications related to cancer treatment (oral mucositis, infections, etc.). • Coordinate with oncologists for patient care. 4. Hygiene & Safety • Maintain strict infection control protocols. • Ensure sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. • Follow hospital safety standards and medical regulations. 5. Documentation • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment details. • Update patient history and treatment reports. Required Skills • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills • Good patient communication and counseling ability • Knowledge of infection control and dental safety protocols • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary medical environment Qualification • BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized institution • Valid Dental Council Registration Experience • 0–3 years experience (Freshers can also apply) Preferred Skills • Experience in hospital dental care • Knowledge of oral complications in cancer patients Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
