Software Project Manager (5-8 yrs)

We are an Australia-based custom solutions provider that produces top-quality bespoke software for Australian and International companies. We are a Global team of high energy driven, talented and creative people at the forefront of software innovations. We are looking for a Project Manager with 5 - 8 years of relevant project management experience , who is able to handle multiple projects and development teams concurrently, without skipping a beat. You will manage concurrent projects, across multiple clients and industries, throughout the full project life-cycle from project initiation, through successful technology delivery and implementation of process improvements. Please note: We operate in a hybrid project management model and do not follow pure Agile or Scrum methodologies. Responsibilities Own the full project lifecycle: planning, execution, delivery and continuous improvement Manage several concurrent projects and teams, balancing priorities and dependencies across clients and internal stakeholders Build pragmatic hybrid plans that combine sprint, budgets, and scope controls Drive day-to-day delivery: planning, demos, risk/issue management, change control, and release coordination Manage communications: status reports, steering updates, and executive readouts with clear metrics Partner with Internal Teams-QA, Data, and DevOps; coordinate third-party vendors as needed Track budgets, forecasts, resourcing, and utilization; support change orders Lead UAT, cutover planning, and post-implementation reviews; turn insights into process improvements Promote healthy team dynamics, clear decision-making, and continuous learning in a remote environment Desired Profile 5 - 8 years managing concurrent software projects Proven success delivering across the full SDLC with hybrid methods (mix of Agile and waterfall/phase-gate) Strong planning, prioritization, and risk management skills; comfortable with ambiguity and context switching Excellent communication and facilitation - able to translate technical detail for business audiences and vice versa Tool proficiency: one or more of Jira/Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Projects, Monday etc. Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and vendor/SOW processes Nice to Have: Familiarity with web/mobile apps, integrations/APIs, and data migration concepts Certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2 are a plus, not a must Perks and Benefits A competitive salary Full Time Remote role Growth Opportunities A Great Global Team If you feel you are a ‘Match ‘, we look forward to hearing from you.
