Job Description

1. Overview:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the organization. The primary objective of the role is to enhance financial performance, identify business opportunities, and mitigate financial risks.

2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate financial performance, profitability, and cash flow
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Provide financial guidance to management on strategic decisions
  • Monitor key financial metrics and industry trends
  • Participate in financial audits and due diligence activities

3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in financial analysis software, such as Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of financial reporting frameworks (GAAP, IFRS)
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including accounting principles, financial ratios, and risk management
  • Expertise in financial modeling techniques
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools, such as SQL or Python

4. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

5. Skills & Experience:

  • Finance: Advanced knowledge of financial principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting
  • Financial Reporting: Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements
  • Finance and Insurance: Understanding of insurance products, regulations, and financial risk management
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Finance & Operations: Proficiency in using Dynamics 365 for financial management
