Job Description

1. Overview:

The Human Resource Manager is a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management within the organization. This role will develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all employees. The primary objective is to attract, retain, and develop top talent while maintaining compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.


2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and offboarding.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Manage employee data and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees and managers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support their HR needs.
  • Manage and mentor HR team members (if applicable).
  • Budget management for the HR department.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations.
  • Expertise in performance management systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration software.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.

4. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

5. Skills & Experience:

  • Human Resource Operations: Extensive experience in all facets of HR operations, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully managing employee relations, recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, and training & development. A deep understanding of HR best practices and ability to implement them effectively is essential.
  • Group Head Human Resource: Experience leading and managing a team of HR professionals, including delegating tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial. Experience in strategic HR planning and execution is highly valued.
