We are looking for a meticulous QA Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manually testing software applications, writing detailed test cases, and documenting defects. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards by thoroughly testing them through various stages of the software development lifecycle. Your role will involve collaborating with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure seamless execution of test plans and timely identification of bugs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements to develop test plans and test cases.

• Execute test cases (manual) and document test results accurately.

• Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Jira or TestRail, ensuring they are logged with sufficient detail for developers to reproduce.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing across multiple platforms.

• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of defects.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and daily standups to stay aligned with project timelines.

• Validate fixes and improvements through re-testing.

• Prepare detailed test reports and provide updates on testing progress to management.

• Ensure all test documentation is up-to-date and complies with company standards.

• Continuously learn and adapt testing techniques to improve the overall testing process.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in manual testing of software applications.

• Proficiency in using bug tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of creating, executing, and managing test cases.

• Experience with functional and regression testing.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with automation tools is a plus, though not required.

• Experience in testing web and mobile applications.

• ISTQB certification or similar qualification.
