Night Shift Pharmacist

Position: Pharmacist Department: Pharma process Location: chennai Work Mode: 24×7 Shift Support (Rotational Shifts Mandatory) Role Overview: Qualified and registered pharmacist to support our online pharmacy operations. The candidate will be responsible for prescription review, validation, data entry, and upselling process Key Responsibilities: 1. Registered Pharmacist (Mandatory) o Must hold a valid Pharmacy License approved by the State Pharmacy Council. 2. Prescription Review & Validation o Verify prescriptions for completeness, correctness, dosage o Check patient details, prescriber credentials, and validity of prescription. o Identify and review unclear, risky, or non-compliant prescriptions. 3. Data Entry & System Operations o Accurate entry of prescription medicines into the system. o Ensure order correctness before approval. o Maintain accuracy and speed while handling large volume entries. 4. Customer Support, Counselling & Upselling o Connect with customers for clarification on prescriptions, medicine availability, substitutes, and dosage queries. o Upsell relevant chronic, wellness, and health-related products based on customer needs. 5. Communication & Coordination o Maintain professional communication with internal teams and customers. 6. Shift & Operational Requirements o Mandatory participation in 24×7 rotational shifts, including night, weekend, and festival/holiday schedules. 7. Regulatory Compliance o Ensure strict adherence to drug laws, online pharmacy guidelines, and internal SOPs. o Maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription data. 8. Quality & Process Improvement o Participate in audits, reviews, and periodic training. 9. Product Knowledge (Basic) o Understand key chronic and acute therapy segments. o Awareness of cold-chain and high-value medicines. o Online pharmacy functioning 10. Professional Attributes o Strong attention to detail and accuracy. o Good communication skills—English and local language preferred. o Ability to multi-task and manage workflow efficiently. o Self-disciplined, responsible, and team-oriented. Requirements Required Qualifications: D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognised institute. Valid Pharmacist License issued by the State Pharmacy Council. Prior experience in retail/online pharmacy preferred (but not mandatory). Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with valid license can also apply) Benefits Industrial standards
