Primary Teacher (PRT)

1. Teaching Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to the prescribed curriculum. • Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and General Knowledge. • Use creative teaching methods including activities, storytelling, technology, and projects. • Ensure that learning objectives are achieved by all students. 2. Classroom Management • Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. • Manage student behavior effectively using constructive discipline. • Encourage participation, curiosity, and confidence among students. • Maintain classroom discipline and decorum. 3. Lesson Planning & Preparation • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and assessments. • Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning abilities. • Integrate co-curricular activities into classroom learning. 4. Student Assessment • Conduct class tests, assignments, and periodic assessments. • Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records. • Identify learning gaps and provide additional support when required. • Prepare report cards and progress reports. 5. Student Development • Support the emotional, social, and intellectual development of students. • Encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. • Identify special learning needs and guide students accordingly. 6. Parent Communication • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior. • Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs). • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to parents. 7. School Responsibilities • Participate in school events, assemblies, and activities. • Assist in organizing educational programs, competitions, and celebrations. • Follow school policies and academic guidelines. 8. Administrative Duties • Maintain attendance records and student files. • Submit lesson plans and reports to the academic coordinator. • Support school initiatives and institutional goals.
