Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Research & Content Creation: Develop well-researched and original academic content, including essays, research papers, reports, case studies, and thesis chapters across various disciplines. Editing & Proofreading: Review and revise content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to academic style and formatting guidelines (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.). Plagiarism-Free Writing: Ensure all written material is original and adheres to strict anti-plagiarism policies. Formatting & Referencing: Use appropriate academic referencing styles and ensure content adheres to any specific formatting requirements. Adherence to Guidelines: Follow the specific guidelines provided by clients, institutions, or publications. Research Assistance: Aid in the collection and analysis of academic resources, including articles, books, and journals, to support written work. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Journalism, or any related field. A background in a specific academic discipline (such as Science, Social Sciences, Humanities) is a plus. Experience: Proven experience in academic writing, ideally in a freelance or qualified capacity. Skills: Excellent research, writing, and editing abilities. Robust command of English grammar, vocabulary, and syntax. Proficiency in academic writing standards (APA, MLA, Harvard, Chicago, etc.). Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Familiarity with citation management tools (Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, etc.).
