Video Editor

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Salim Aatish. The Video Editor will be responsible for creating engaging video content for YouTube and social media platforms. Daily tasks include editing long-form videos and short-form content (Reels/Shorts), improving pacing and storytelling, adding motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and ensuring the final video meets high production standards. The editor will work closely with our team to maintain a fast and efficient content workflow. Responsibilities Edit YouTube videos, Reels, and Shorts for creators and brands Structure videos for high retention and engagement Add subtitles, sound effects, transitions, and motion graphics Perform color correction and audio balancing Maintain consistent editing style and brand identity Deliver projects within deadlines and collaborate with the team Qualifications Strong skills in video editing and storytelling Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools Experience with motion graphics (After Effects or similar) Understanding of YouTube and social media content styles Strong attention to detail and creativity Ability to work independently in a remote environment Good communication and time management Bonus Experience editing content for creators or social media pages Understanding of viral content and audience retention Remuneration • 15,000 - 25,000 (based on experience and skill)
