B2B E-commerce & Marketplace Operations Executive

• About the Role* MSME Focused on supplying packaging products and related consumer goods, with sourcing mainly from India and China and sales targeted towards the UK and international markets. At this stage, looking for someone who can support with *operational and backend execution* of the business. The role will mainly involve managing product listings, organizing supplier and product data, handling enquiries, maintaining quotation sheets, and keeping operational processes organized. This is a startup-stage role where the person will work closely with the founder and help build structured operational systems from the ground up. • Key Responsibilities* 1. *Marketplace & Listing Management* • Create and maintain product listings on B2B platforms such as Alibaba, IndiaMART, Faire, and similar marketplaces. • Assist with basic listing management on retail platforms like Amazon or eBay when required. • Update product details, descriptions, pricing, and catalog information. 2. *Enquiry & Quotation Coordination* • Track incoming enquiries from B2B platforms and other sources. • Prepare quotation sheets based on information provided. • Maintain organized records of enquiries and follow-ups. 3. *Supplier & Product Data Organization* • Maintain structured databases of suppliers, products, pricing, and certifications. • Update spreadsheets and internal records for easy tracking. • Organize product specification sheets and documentation. 4. *Operational Process Management* • Maintain Excel or Google Sheets dashboards for: • enquiry tracking • supplier information • product margins (as provided) • operational workflow tracking • Assist in building organized systems for managing day-to-day operations. • Required Skills* • 1–3 years experience in e-commerce or operations support. • Familiarity with marketplaces such as Alibaba, IndiaMART, Amazon B2B, or similar platforms. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly. • Comfortable working in a startup environment where responsibilities may be varied. • Preferred (Good to Have)* • Experience working with product listings or catalog management. • Basic understanding of B2B marketplaces or supplier coordination. • Exposure to consumer goods or packaging related products.
