Job Summary
The Manager – Administration is responsible for overseeing the overall administrative operations of the hospital to ensure efficient functioning of non-clinical services. The role involves managing hospital infrastructure, housekeeping, security, vendor management, compliance, statutory requirements, and coordination with medical and support departments to ensure smooth hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Hospital Administration
• Manage day-to-day administrative operations of the hospital.
• Ensure smooth functioning of all support services including housekeeping, security, maintenance, transport, and facility management.
• Monitor hospital infrastructure, utilities, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the hospital premises.
2. Facility Management
• Supervise building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, biomedical equipment coordination, and AMC management.
• Ensure proper waste management and biomedical waste disposal as per regulatory norms.
• Manage hospital assets and infrastructure.
3. Vendor & Contract Management
• Handle vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Monitor outsourced services such as housekeeping, security, cafeteria, ambulance services, and maintenance.
• Ensure service quality and cost control.
4. Compliance & Legal Requirements
• Ensure compliance with hospital regulations, NABH standards, fire safety regulations, biomedical waste management rules, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain documentation for licenses, renewals, and statutory compliances.
5. Security & Safety Management
• Implement and monitor hospital safety policies and emergency preparedness plans.
• Coordinate fire safety audits, disaster management drills, and emergency response systems.
6. Budget & Cost Control
• Prepare and manage administrative budgets.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost optimization strategies.
7. Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with medical staff, nursing staff, HR, and other departments for operational efficiency.
• Address administrative issues raised by patients, staff, and visitors.
8. Staff Supervision
• Supervise administrative staff including reception, security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure staff discipline, training, and performance monitoring.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
