Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Role: - Sr. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: - • Manage concurrent projects • Efficiently analyze problems and use your experience and knowledge of engineering fundamentals to create a solution that meets the client’s needs • Provide technical assistance when needed • Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision • Reviews specifications, drawings and vendor equipment documentation from within the discipline, other disciplines, for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks discrepancy resolution. Qualification: - B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering Required Experience: - 7 to 8 years Skills Required: - • Design Basis Preparation (Mandatory) • Specification Preparation (Mandatory) • Data Sheet Preparation (Mandatory) • Preparation of Electrical Load List (Mandatory) • Cable Schedule Preparation (Mandatory) • Preparation of key Single Line Diagram along with protection schemes up to 132kV (Mandatory) • Preparation of Electrical Heat Tracing Line List • All types of Sizing / Calculations (Mandatory) like: • Cable Sizing ,CT Sizing, PT Sizing • Breaker Sizing & Selection • Short Circuit Calculation • Busbar Sizing & Different Busbar Schemes • Transformer Sizing & Parameters Selection • DG Sizing • Battery Sizing & Battery Charger Sizing • Lighting Calculation • Earthing Calculation • Lightning Protection Calculation • Isolator Sizing • AC UPS • DC UPS • Motor Parameter Details along with starter Concept • Cable Tray Sizing Calculation • LA Sizing Preparation of Layouts (Mandatory) like: • Switch yard Layout • All Electrical Equipment Layout • Earthing Layout • Cable Routing Layout • Lighting Layout & Small Power Layout • Electrical Power Layout • Lightning Layout • Hazardous Area Classification • Cable Trench Layout • Cable Duct Bank & Pulpit Layout • Heat Tracing Layout. • Preparation of MR (Material Requisition) (Mandatory) • Preparation of TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation) • Reviewing Vendor Documents • Preparation of Deliverable List • Calculating Man-Hours • Should be aware of all Standards like OISD, NEC, IEEE, IEC, IS, NEFPA, NEEMA, KOC, ADNOC etc. • Preparation of all BOQ’s and MTO’s (Mandatory) • Preparation of As-Built Drawings & Document • Preparation of Termination Schedule • Preparation of Block Diagram Tools to be Known: • AutoCAD (Mandatory) • Dialux (Mandatory) • Microsoft Office (Mandatory) • Navis Work • ETAP (Mandatory for above 5 years of Experience) • Load Flow Analysis • Short Circuit Analysis • Relay Co-ordination Study • Arc Flash Analysis etc.
