Solidworks Design Engineer

As an ELPS Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing External Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) in compliance with Indian and international standards such as IEC / IS and relevant codes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing External Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) according to specified standards - Creating detailed engineering drawings using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent - Interpreting design requirements and conducting quantity take-offs - Preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) - Conducting site visits, inspections, and supporting execution teams - Preparing and reviewing As-Built and As-Wired drawings post project completion - Coordinating effectively with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders - Staying updated with the latest revisions of standards and implementing them in design practices - Contributing to value engineering, innovative design approaches, and competitive technical solutions You should possess strong technical knowledge of External LPS design principles and standards, proficiency in engineering design tools and documentation, good communication and coordination skills, attention to detail, commitment to quality engineering, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines.
