Software Engineer — Integrations & Platform Department: Engineering Location: India (Remote, EST-aligned hours) Type: Full-Time About the Role We're building the connective layer between platforms — a product that lets developers integrate with 200+ third-party services through a single API, focused for AI agents. We're looking for a Software Engineer who is hungry to build, obsessively curious, and moves fast. You'll be working directly on integrations and platform infrastructure alongside a small, tight-knit engineering team. Your day-to-day will involve shipping features, building new connectors, working across third-party APIs, and pushing the boundaries of what our platform can do. You'll be expected to own what you build, experiment constantly, and stay sharp on the latest tools and technologies — including the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape. This isn't a role where you'll be waiting for tickets to be assigned. We need someone who sees opportunity, picks it up, and ships it. What You'll Be Doing • Building and extending integrations across a wide range of third-party platforms — working with their APIs, authentication flows, webhooks, and data models • Shipping product features end-to-end in TypeScript, from design through implementation to production • Working with AI tools and technologies as a daily part of your workflow — you're already using AI-assisted development and you're always exploring what's new • Collaborating with a small team of engineers where your contributions have direct, visible impact on the product • Moving fast — we operate with urgency. You'll ship frequently, iterate quickly, and learn from what you put in front of users • Building for the community — creating daily use cases, examples, and tooling that can be open sourced, helping developers beyond our platform get value from what we build • Exploring and experimenting — prototyping new approaches, evaluating new technologies, and bringing ideas to the team on how we can build better and faster What We're Looking For Must-Haves • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production software • Deep proficiency in TypeScript — this is your primary language. You write clean, well-structured TypeScript and understand its type system deeply • Experience working with third-party APIs and integrations — REST, GraphQL, OAuth flows, webhooks, rate limiting, pagination, and the general messiness of working with external platforms • Comfort with modern AI development tools — you actively use AI-assisted coding (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.) and stay on top of new AI tools and capabilities as they emerge. You see AI as a multiplier, not a novelty or something you solely rely on blindly. • Strong product intuition — you think about what you're building from the user's perspective, not just the code • High velocity — you ship fast, learn fast, and don't get stuck. You know when something is good enough to ship and when it needs more work • Self-directed and motivated — you don't need someone to manage your day. You find the most important thing to work on and you execute • Experience with Node.js backend development and server-side TypeScript • Familiarity with PostgreSQL production environments Strong Preferences • Experience building or consuming OAuth 2.0 flows and managing authentication across multiple platforms • Exposure to event-driven architectures — webhooks, queues, async processing • Familiarity with Docker and basic cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS) • Experience working in small, fast-moving teams where you wore multiple hats • Open-source contributions or personal projects that demonstrate curiosity and initiative Who You Are • You're endlessly curious. You learn new technologies for fun. You're the person who reads the changelog, tries the beta, and has opinions on tools that just launched last week. • You build fast. You bias toward action. You'd rather ship something imperfect and iterate than spend weeks planning the perfect architecture. You know how to balance speed with quality. • You love the craft. You genuinely enjoy writing code, solving problems, and building things. This isn't just a job — it's something you'd be doing anyway. • You embrace AI. You're not intimidated by AI tools — you're excited by them. You already use them to move faster and you're constantly experimenting with new ones. • You're a team player. You'll be part of a small group where communication, trust, and collaboration matter. You give and receive feedback well, and you make the people around you better. • You're motivated. You bring energy. You don't wait for permission. You see what needs to be done and you do it. Working Hours This role is based in India, but we need significant overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST). You should be comfortable working hours that allow for real-time collaboration with the team during EST working hours. Why Join Us You'll be joining a small, high-impact team building the integration layer that developers rely on. You'll ship real product, work with cutting-edge tools, and have the freedom to experiment and grow. If you want to work somewhere where your contributions are visible from day one and where speed and curiosity are valued above process and politics — this is it.
