Policy Research Intern

Your role will encompass conducting comprehensive and sophisticated research on a wide range of policy topics, meticulously analyzing data, and providing insights that contribute to the development of policies. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive research on a wide range of public policy and political science topics using academic, governmental, and credible online sources. • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data meticulously to derive clear, evidence‑based insights. • Draft research notes, policy briefs, background papers, and summary documents for internal and external use. • Support the development of policy recommendations by connecting research findings to broader societal and systemic implications. • Monitor and track current policy debates, legislative developments, and political trends relevant to PoT’s focus areas. • Collaborate with policy specialists, legal scholars, data analysts, and content creators to translate research into accessible content and advocacy material. Qualifications • Strong research and analytical skills for evaluating policy data and trends. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to prepare clear and concise reports. • Competency in data visualization and creating high-quality presentations. • Familiarity with public policy frameworks, government systems, and project management. • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
