Role Overview
We are hiring a Lead Product Manager based in Gurgaon to own Pluang’s Funnel & Growth (FnG) charter across the full lifecycle: Acquisition, Activation, Retention, and Conversion. You will set the growth product strategy, build scalable growth systems (journey optimization, instrumentation, experimentation, lifecycle management), and lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Data, Design, and Marketing. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on revenue, transaction volume, and user growth.
What You Will Do
1) Own growth strategy & operating cadence across Acquisition, Activation, Retention, and Conversion (AI as a capability)
• Define FnG strategy, priorities, and roadmap; align stakeholders on tradeoffs and sequencing.
• Establish a strong growth operating system: weekly metrics, reviews, and clear accountability.
• Build AI leverage into growth workflows (e.g., automated funnel anomaly detection, faster insight generation, variant generation + quality checks, lifecycle personalization).
2) Increase app installs through product-led loops and/or marketing performance infrastructure
• Drive step-function growth in installs by owning product-led acquisition loops (e.g., referrals, SEO/AEO landing experiences, able content/artifacts, AI content generation engine)
• Partner with Marketing to build product infrastructure that improves paid performance (e.g., attribution quality, campaign-to-cohort visibility, landing flow conversion improvements).
• Ensure install growth is measured with incrementality and quality (downstream activation, KYC, first trade, retention).
3) Improve funnel conversion via instrumentation, experimentation, and personalization
• Own end-to-end funnel health and conversion improvements across onboarding KYC first trade repeat trade.
• Run a high-velocity experimentation program with strong rigor (test design, guardrails, interpretation, and rollout).
• Ship personalization that compounds: targeted journeys, contextual nudges, dynamic offers—grounded in measurable lift.
4) Build cohorting + lifecycle systems that scale engagement and retention
• Define and evolve cohorting (intent/value/behavior/asset affinity) that drives targeted experiences and prioritization.
• Build lifecycle journeys that reduce drop-offs and increase habit formation (e.g., education, alerts, portfolio habits).
• Partner with Data/Eng to ensure the lifecycle engine is measurable, reliable, and operationally scalable.
5) Scale referral + influencer growth routes with sustainable economics and controls
• Own referral product mechanics end-to-end: incentives, UX, fraud/risk controls, and inviter/invitee economics.
• Build tooling that enables influencer programs to scale (tracking, attribution, reward logic, performance insights).
6) Lead cross-functional execution and raise the growth bar
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Compliance to ship impactful growth initiatives.
• Mentor PM(s) and standardize best practices in experimentation quality, analytics hygiene, and execution cadence.
• Translate strategy into shippable roadmaps and ensure outcomes are realized (not just launched).
What You Will Need
Qualifications
• 6+ years of Product Management experience, with meaningful ownership in growth / funnel / lifecycle.
• Demonstrated impact on acquisition, activation, retention, and conversion metrics at scale.
• Fintech, trading, or consumer financial products experience is strongly preferred.
• Marketing or Product Marketing experience (preferred)—especially performance marketing collaboration, lifecycle, GTM, or positioning.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical and experimentation depth (cohort analysis, incrementality, A/B testing rigor).
• Ability to build systems: instrumentation standards, experimentation pipelines, lifecycle/personalization engines.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management in fast-moving environments.
• Practical fluency in applying AI to product and operations (e.g., content pipelines, evaluation/monitoring, automated insighting)—without treating AI as a vanity requirement.
Mindset
• High ownership, strong product judgment, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Bias for outcomes and compounding leverage over one-off wins.
