Principal AI/LLM Researcher

Role Description We are looking for an AI Researcher focused on building new models to power the next generation of intelligent review and investigation systems. In this role, you will design, train, and evaluate novel models—ranging from domain-specific foundation models to task-specialized architectures—built for real-world, high-stakes decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of research and production, with a strong emphasis on original modeling work that moves beyond off-the-shelf LLM usage. Qualifications • 5+ years of research experience in ML / AI (academic, industry, or both) • Hands-on experience training models at scale (beyond pre-trained API usage) • Experience building or adapting foundation models or large domain-specific LLMs • Background or passion for Trust & Safety, Fraud, or Risk ML systems • Strong ownership mindset and hunger for impact
