Quality Engineer / Manager

JD for Quality Engineer / Manager: The Quality Engineer / Manager reports to the MD on the effectiveness of his actions. - Identify and evaluate activities that may give rise to problems regarding Quality. - In addition to the assigned duties, QM is responsible for implementing of MS, preparation and changing of documented information including quality Manual, System & Procedures, SOP and get it approved by the managing director, He will be the ISO coordinator[MR] for the company and interact with consultants certification body, and regular implementation of ISO 9001-2015 standards. - Recommend, urge for and propose solutions to problems and make sure that the solutions chosen are carried out. - Propose actions to prevent possible product non-conformities - Make certain that the non-conformities have been resolved. - Evaluate the appropriateness and efficiency of the QMS adopted. - Interact with external agencies on issues related to the processes identified in the Quality Management System. - Prepare the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 8D analysis, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) by discussing with PM, PE, PRM and all related departments for all quality problems. - Adopting to the MR role & Quality Management system, QM is responsible for conducting of internal audits to each and every department. - Specific tasks include: - Prepare / update this QMS Manual, instructions, Procedures and modules, related to various activities - Carry out inspections to verify the application of QMS procedures. - Sub supplier certification to be uploaded or shared to client in the form of MDR, SPIR, Instruction Manual & TRS. - Analyze the non-conformities with the concerned PM, PE, PRM, PDM, etc, and close the non conformities with proper corrective actions. - Responsible to receive, record & handle customer complaints - Prepare the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 8D tool for necessary NCs and customer complaints and classify them under the below causes - Lack of Training - Manufacturing /assembly faults - Change control not communicated - Purchasing / Supplier faults - Quality in Testing - Documentation - Maintenance - Others, Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with the respective PM, PE, PRM, PDM, etc, and implement the same for the improvements. - Ensure that the Preipolars products meet the conformance with TRS (Technical Regulation and Standards) requirements as per the applicable countries. - Ensure and approval for the production stage inspection. - Final authority to release product with good quality. - Ensure the Statutory and Regulatory requirements are covered.
