Job Summary: Priya Fabrics is looking for a proactive and dynamic Fashion Merchandiser & Procurement Specialist to manage product sourcing, inventory, and visual merchandising. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for fashion trends, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for ensuring the store remains well-stocked with high-demand items. Key Responsibilities: • Research and identify new fashion trends and source relevant fabrics and readymade garments accordingly. • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and order required items to maintain optimal stock levels. • Identify slow-moving items and strategize ways to increase sales through promotions, discounts, or bundling. • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure a diverse range of quality products. • Oversee visual merchandising to ensure an attractive and engaging store layout that enhances customer experience. • Travel as needed to purchase fabrics and garments, ensuring the best quality and prices. • Analyze sales data to identify customer preferences and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly. Requirements: • Prior experience in fashion merchandising, retail procurement, or a related field is preferred. • Strong understanding of fashion trends and consumer preferences. • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed purchasing decisions. • Creative mindset with an eye for visual merchandising. • Willingness to travel for sourcing and purchasing. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
