Project Manager (Manufacturing & Industrial Projects) (India)

Position Summary: Q and Q Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager – Manufacturing & Industrial Projects with strong hands-on knowledge of manufacturing techniques, casting, machining, fabrication, coating, inspection, and industrial automation. The role will lead end-to-end execution of customer projects – from feasibility, costing, vendor development, production planning, quality, and delivery – ensuring timelines, budgets, and technical compliance. This position is ideal for professionals with good exposure to foundry, machining, fabrication, special processes, and turnkey manufacturing projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Execution: - Own full project lifecycle: RFQ → Feasibility → Costing → APQP → PPAP → SOP → Delivery - Develop project plans, milestones, budgets, manpower, and risk mitigation - Coordinate cross-functional teams: design, production, quality, SCM, vendors - Track progress using project dashboards, Gantt charts, and KPIs 2. Manufacturing & Process Expertise: - Review drawings, GD&T;, material specs, and process feasibility - Define process routes for: - Casting (sand, investment, gravity, HPDC) - Machining (CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, grinding) - Fabrication & welding - Heat treatment - Surface treatment (CED, painting, plating, anodizing, PVD) - Assembly & testing - Drive process optimization, cycle time reduction, and yield improvement 3. Vendor & Supply Chain Management: - Identify, audit, and develop suppliers (casting, machining, coating, tooling) - Lead technical & commercial negotiations - Ensure on-time material readiness and quality compliance - Manage tooling, fixture, and CAPEX planning 4. Quality & Compliance: - Lead APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, and SPC - Ensure ISO 9001 / IATF / customer-specific compliance - Drive root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) - Handle customer audits, inspections, and corrective actions 5. Costing & Commercial Control: - Prepare detailed BOM, routing cost, and cycle time costing - Track project profitability, cost variance, and risk exposure - Support RFQs, feasibility studies, and quotation submissions 6. Customer & Stakeholder Management: - Act as the single point of contact for customers - Conduct regular reviews, status reports, and technical discussions - Manage change requests and scope control Required Skills & Qualifications Education: - BE/B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering - PMP / Six Sigma / APQP certification preferred Experience: - Experience: 2-7 years - Positive experience in manufacturing project management - Strong background in foundry, machining, fabrication, or industrial components - Experience with automotive, wind energy, oil & gas, heavy engineering is a plus Technical Skills: - Manufacturing process planning - Costing & RFQ preparation - APQP / PPAP / PFMEA / Control Plan - SAP / ERP / MS Project / Excel - GD&T;, drawing reading, material standards Soft Skills: - Strong leadership & communication - Vendor & customer negotiation - Problem-solving and decision-making - Multi-project handling capability What We Offer: - High-growth manufacturing projects - Exposure to global customers - Opportunity to build turnkey production systems For More Information, Kindly contact: Pravin Admin & HR +91-XXXXXXXXXX Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year Benefits: - Food provided - Health insurance - Provident Fund Work Location: In person
