Senior QA Automation Engineer - UI & API Testing

Description : Job Title : Senior QA Automation Engineer (UI & API) Experience : 8+ Years Location : Pan India Shift Timing : 11 : 00 AM 8 : 30 PM Role Type : Individual Contributor (Lead Level) Role Summary : We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in UI and API automation testing. The candidate will work as an Individual Contributor in a lead capacity, driving automation initiatives, designing robust frameworks, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop End-to-End (E2E) UI automation frameworks - Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ruby (4+ years hands-on experience) - Work extensively with Selenium framework - Perform API testing using Rest Assured and Postman - Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation - Analyze requirements and create automation test strategies - Review code and mentor junior QA engineers when required - Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and defect triage meetings - Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams Mandatory Skills : - 8+ years of overall Testing experience - Strong experience in UI Automation (E2E testing) - Strong programming skills in Ruby (minimum 4+ years) - Experience working with Selenium framework - Hands-on experience in API testing (Rest Assured / Postman) - Good knowledge of SQL for data validation - Experience working in Agile environment Good to Have : - CI/CD pipeline integration experience - Experience with build tools and automation integration - Exposure to DevOps practices Role Expectations : - Act as a lead-level Individual Contributor - Own automation design and execution - Ensure best practices in test automation - Drive quality improvements across releases
