About the Role As a Smart Contract Developer at Qiro, you’ll design and build the core on-chain protocols that power our private credit infrastructure. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and auditors to develop secure, production-grade smart contracts that manage capital, enforce credit logic, and integrate seamlessly with the rest of the platform. This is a full-time, in-office IC role where you’ll own end-to-end smart contract development and be part of Qiro’s core engineering team, working directly with founders and technical leadership. What You’ll Do • Design, implement, and deploy secure, auditable smart contracts using Solidity on Ethereum or other EVM-compatible chains. • Build contracts that meet institutional-grade security and audit requirements. • Write clean, readable, gas-efficient Solidity code backed by comprehensive test coverage. • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product teams, and security auditors to identify risks and enforce best practices. • Produce clear and well-structured technical documentation for smart contract systems and workflows. • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and audit remediation processes. • Stay current with Solidity/EVM updates, tooling improvements, and emerging exploit vectors. • Who You Are • 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience in Solidity and EVM-based smart contracts. • Proven experience deploying production-grade, non-trivial smart contracts, ideally with completed security audits. • Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, common smart contract vulnerabilities, and EVM mechanics. • Hands-on experience with modern smart contract tooling such as Hardhat or Foundry. • Strong testing discipline and experience writing comprehensive smart contract test suites. • Ability to design clean, intuitive smart contract interfaces. • Clear communicator who values direct feedback and cross-functional collaboration. • Why Join Qiro • Build the on-chain foundation for next-generation private credit markets. • Work directly with founders, backend engineers, and auditors on mission-critical systems. • Work from office only — we believe deep collaboration is essential for secure protocol development. • Competitive compensation (cash + ESOPs) • Location: Bangalore Our Culture We care deeply about correctness, security, and long-term thinking.
