Senior Lead - AI and DSP Applications Software Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is searching for an AI and DSP Applications Software Engineer to be a part of the AI Processor Solutions team that is responsible for developing machine learning based applications and use cases developed for Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The candidate will work on new cutting-edge hardware accelerators in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and video processing and contribute to research and development of new applications that bring artificial intelligence to mobile and edge devices. Key Responsibilities: - Read abstract problem definitions, define problem statements, design and ensure that goals of our end users and technology are met. - Work with multiple teams to determine and understand requirements and implement resolutions to technical issues. - Lead and mentor junior members in the team. Guide them periodically on project goals and deliverables. - Design and develop processing frameworks running on Android, Linux, and other High Level Operating Systems as well as on embedded, real-time AI Processors. - Test and validate solutions for quality, performance, and power. - Explore opportunities outside of Mobile, including Automotive, IoT, XR, etc. Qualification Required: - Engineers with ideally 6+ years of professional experience in the following areas are welcome to apply. - Strong knowledge of modern C++ and C; experience with other object-oriented languages a plus. - Good understanding of software development principles and practices, object-oriented design. - Familiar with computer/hardware architecture and operating systems. - Real-time software development concepts. - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. - Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work with multiple teams. - The candidate is expected to follow excellent software development practices and processes.
