Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support our Marketing & PR function. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & PR, you will contribute to communications activities, industry research, content development, and corporate reporting. In this role, you will receive regular guidance and support while learning on the job. You will also gain unique exposure to the scaling of a post-Series A startup in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities • Corporate Reporting & Research • Quarterly Reporting: Assist in drafting and formatting sections of QE’s quarterly company reports using existing templates, gaining exposure to materials prepared for board-level review. • Market Intelligence: Conduct research to monitor solar energy trends, PV technologies, and competitor developments. • Data Integration: Help gather and synthesize data to support marketing strategies and stakeholder briefings. • Communications, PR & Content • Collateral & PR: Assist in producing B2B materials (brochures, newsletters, posters, etc.) and drafting press releases or event announcements. • Social Media: Contribute to LinkedIn content planning, image creation, and scheduling. • Website & SEO: Support routine website content updates, specifically implementing SEO best practices through keyword tagging and image naming. • Presentation Design: Support the standardization of corporate decks for high-level stakeholder meetings. • Project & Event Coordination • Event Support: Provide logistical support for industry exhibitions, roadshows, and conferences. • Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with technical teams to collect photos and data updates for marketing and documentation. • Ad-hoc Support: Assist with clearly scoped marketing operations tasks (e.g. CRM updates, contact tagging, data cleanup, or content uploads) as needed. Requirements & Qualifications • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications at a recognized local university. • Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills with an ability to de-mystify technical information. • Research & Analytical Ability: Strong ability to conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and synthesize data into clear summaries. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva or basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with digital platforms (LinkedIn, SEO). • AI Tools: Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, Copilot) for productivity and research is a plus. • Mindset: A proactive, responsible contributor comfortable in a dynamic, start-up environment. • Availability: Full-time; minimum six-month commitment required.
