Sales and Application Engineer - Cutting Tools

Experience: 3–5 years Job Type: Full-time; Work from Home Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Sales & Application Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in the cutting tools industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth while providing technical application support to customers in machining and manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development • Develop new customers and expand existing accounts in the assigned territory • Promote and sell cutting tools (turning, milling, drilling, threading) • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets • Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients Application Engineering • Recommend cutting tools based on customer machining needs • Optimize cutting parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut) • Conduct on-site trials and tool performance analysis • Troubleshoot machining issues and improve productivity Customer Support • Build strong relationships with production and purchase teams • Provide after-sales technical support • Resolve customer complaints effectively Market Insights • Track competitor activity and industry trends • Identify new application opportunities and share feedback internally Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience: 3–5 years in cutting tools / metal cutting industry Technical Skills: • Knowledge of CNC machining (turning & milling) • Understanding of tooling systems and machining processes • Ability to read engineering drawings Soft Skills: • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Problem-solving attitude • Ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with brands like Sandvik, Kennametal, Seco, Walter • Exposure to automotive or heavy engineering industries What We Offer • Competitive salary + performance incentives • Career growth opportunities • Exposure to advanced machining technologies How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply directly on Indeed or share their resume at: jobs@questbusiness.co.in Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month Benefits: • Provident Fund • Work from home Work Location: In person
