Job Purpose We are looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer to design and implement solutions across our Upstream Planning portfolio. This role involves contributing to technical decisions while following established best practices. The overall objective is to support initiatives that improve deliverable quality and performance. What You Will Do • Develop and maintain Upstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment. • Contribute to architectural standards, coding best practices, and reusable components across the application portfolio. • Learn and adopt modern technologies and frameworks. • Support technical decisions and follow coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline the development process. • Collaborate with stakeholders, help identify risks, and assist in resolving bottlenecks. • Maintain proper documentation and adhere to guidelines. • And other duties as assigned. What To Bring • 3+ years of experience developing software applications. • Proficient in .NET, RESTful services, and object-oriented design patterns • Good working knowledge of relational databases. • Good understanding in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies. • Familiarity with designing solutions for high availability, scalability, and performance optimization. • Working knowledge of cloud technologies • Working knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture • Understanding of security protocols and encryption standards • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills. • Strong communication skills. • Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Nice To Have • Familiarity with AI/ML workloads or agentic systems • Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks and agent architecture • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar extensibility patterns • Experience with front-end technologies, React, is a plus. • Knowledge of upstream oil and gas domain • Knowledge of NoSql databases Additional Details • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
