Freelancer for Freight Forwarding

• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare, verify, and manage export/import documents including Bills of Lading (BL), Airway Bills (AWB), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin. • Customs Clearance Management: Handle the filing of Shipping Bills for exports and Bills of Entry for imports via ICEGATE/EDI systems. • Coordination: Act as the liaison between the shipper, CHA, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters. • Operational Tasks: File Shipping Instructions (SI), VGM (Verified Gross Mass), and manage container bookings. • Tracking & Updates: Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to clients regarding clearance and vessel schedules. • Issue Resolution: Resolve documentation discrepancies, customs queries, or delays promptly.
