Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ring Road for a Western Sous Chef. The Western Sous Chef will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered. The role involves coordinating with culinary teams, maintaining inventory, adhering to safety and hygiene standards, and contributing to menu planning and innovation. Additionally, the Sous Chef will assist in staff training, maintaining efficient workflows, and upholding Sarovar Hotels' commitment to excellence in dining experiences.
Qualifications
• Experience in Western cuisine preparation, food presentation, and knowledge of culinary techniques
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices in food preparation
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field
• Previous experience of working in upscale or luxury hospitality establishments preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
