Finishing QA

Job Title: Designated QA – Export Garments Location: Sector 34 Berhampur road Gurgaon. Industry: Apparel / Garment Manufacturing (Export) Experience: 5–10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Designated Quality Assurance (QA) professional with strong exposure to export orders and international brand standards. The candidate should have independently handled buyer accounts and ensured end-to-end quality compliance from production to final shipment as per global export norms. Key ResponsibilitiesBuyer Account Ownership • Act as the Designated QA for assigned export buyer accounts. • Ensure garments meet buyer specifications, approved tech packs, measurement charts, and quality manuals. • Ensure full compliance with export brand norms and shipment standards. Inspection & Quality Control • Conduct pre-production, inline, and final inspections as per AQL standards. • Monitor bulk production quality to prevent defects at source. • Perform measurement checks, workmanship evaluation, and finishing audits. • Approve fit samples, PP samples, size sets, and TOP samples as per buyer requirements. • Ensure packing, labeling, and carton standards meet buyer guidelines. Defect Prevention & CAPA • Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Work closely with production, finishing, and merchandising teams to reduce rejections and claims. • Drive continuous improvement in quality performance. Audit & Documentation • Handle buyer audits and third-party inspections. • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and QA documentation. • Ensure timely quality approvals for smooth shipment clearance. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 6-8 years of experience in garment export quality. • Hands-on experience handling export brands / international buyers. • Strong knowledge of AQL standards and export inspection procedures. • Understanding of garment construction, measurements, and finishing standards. • Knowledge of packing norms and shipment documentation. • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills. • Ability to work under tight deadlines and shipment pressure. Preferred: • Familiarity with compliance and social audit standards. • Strong communication skills for buyer interaction.
