Job Title: PGT Social Studies Teacher (Grades 9–12) Location: Marathahalli–Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru Salary: Up to ₹45,000 per month Joining: Next Academic Year Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: An International School located in Marathahalli–Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru is seeking an experienced and dynamic PGT Social Studies Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (Grades 9–12). The ideal candidate must be capable of handling History, Civics, Economics, and Political Science with solid subject expertise and classroom management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Teach Social Studies subjects (History, Civics, Economics, Political Science) for Grades 9–12. - Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the curriculum. - Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments. - Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. - Prepare students for board examinations with effective revision strategies. - Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment. - Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and academic planning sessions. - Contribute to extracurricular and co-curricular activities when required. Eligibility Criteria: - MA in Social Studies/History/Economics/Political Science (relevant specialization). - BEd mandatory. - Minimum 5+ years of experience teaching senior secondary classes (9–12). - Strong subject knowledge and communication skills. - Experience in an International School setting preferred.
