Regional Supply & Procurement Specialist (India)

As a Regional Supply & Procurement Specialist at REEL India Services Pvt. Limited, your role is crucial in managing the end-to-end sourcing and procurement lifecycle for operations in India and the Middle East. You will be the bridge between regional offices, ensuring resilient, cost-effective, and compliant supply chains. Your key responsibilities include: - Driving the establishment or improvement of competitive frameworks and markets for the purchase of goods and services, resulting in continuous improvement, improved supplier safety, and measurable savings. - Supporting project managers by coordinating market analyses and purchasing projects, ensuring timely availability of materials for project milestones. - Developing and implementing long-term procurement strategies for direct materials and services, aligning with broader business objectives. - Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with global and regional suppliers to secure optimal terms, quality, and delivery performance. - Proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks through multi-sourcing strategies, regionalization, and predictive analytics. - Driving cost-saving initiatives using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, value analysis, and competitive bidding. - Contributing towards safety and sustainable development, ensuring adherence to the company's safety principles. - Supporting REEL strategy with respect to Market Development and Low Cost Country sourcing. - Ensuring Group leverage is appropriately used and operability requirements are addressed. - Developing supplier framework, coordinating with suppliers for export formalities, and managing delivery of results. - Mentoring procurement professionals in Project Procurement and managing engineering conflicts. - Supporting the development of vendor manufacturing base in India for REEL BUs. - Initiating new procedures to streamline procurement process and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in forecasting costs. Requirements: Key Skills: - Experience: 510 years in strategic purchasing or procurement within an industrial manufacturing or engineered products environment. - Project Expertise: Proven track record in managing complex, long-duration procurement cycles and outcome-based specifications. - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Negotiation Skills: Advanced negotiation techniques with a focus on complex deal-structuring. - Regulated Industry Experience: Previous experience in regulated sectors is preferred. - Familiarity with software and tools to add value to the procurement process. - Ability to work collaboratively, respond proactively, and maintain a database of historical cost data. - High professional integrity, eye for quality, excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills. - Strong stakeholder management, proactive, detail-oriented, and open to travel. - Experience in a global matrix organization.
