In this role, you will shape strategy, lead a dynamic team, and ensure our video content dominates across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, OTT platforms, and emerging digital spaces. Role Overview As Digital Video Lead – Hindi, you will spearhead the creation, distribution, optimization, and performance of video content across all digital platforms. You will ensure every video is editorially strong, algorithm-friendly, audience-first, and built for scale, helping drive maximum reach, engagement, and monetization. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy • Lead and mentor the digital video team, driving a high-performance newsroom culture • Set clear KPIs for audience growth, engagement, watch time, and monetization • Build and execute a multi-platform video strategy aligned with editorial and brand goals • Identify emerging platform trends, formats, and innovations to keep the brand ahead in digital video Content & Editorial • Oversee end-to-end video production — from ideation to publishing • Ensure strong editorial judgment, storytelling quality, and high production standards • Develop platform-native content strategies for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and OTT • Plan and coordinate coverage for breaking news, live events, debates, and special digital projects Optimization & Growth • Implement SEO, metadata, tagging, thumbnail strategy, and hashtag optimization • Use data, audience insights, and analytics to refine content strategy and improve performance • Track competitor strategies and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities • Experiment with new formats, series, and storytelling approaches ⚖️ Compliance & Standards • Ensure compliance with copyright policies, platform regulations, and Content ID systems • Maintain editorial credibility, brand voice, and accuracy across all digital video outputs Qualifications Experience: • 12–14 years of experience in digital video operations within a news/media organization • Proven track record of scaling audiences and achieving strong performance metrics • Strong editorial background with innovative digital storytelling capabilities Knowledge: • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, video formats, and audience behavior • Experience managing creative, editorial, and technical teams in a fast-paced newsroom environment ⚠️ Important: Only candidates with experience in News Media organizations will be considered.
