A Fine Dine Restaurant Captain leads front-of-house service, ensuring high-end guest experiences through expert menu knowledge, table supervision, and staff training. Key duties include welcoming guests, taking orders, managing wine service, and handling complaints with discretion. The role requires 3-6 years of experience, exceptional communication, and proficiency in fine-dining etiquette. Key Responsibilities & Job Description (JD) • Service Excellence: Supervise daily operations, ensuring impeccable table setups and service standards (cutlery, glassware, napkins). • Guest Relations: Greet patrons, provide personalized service, explain menu items, and suggest wine pairings. • Order Management: Accurately relay orders to the kitchen/bar, monitor timing, and manage table turnover. • Team Leadership: Train, guide, and supervise stewards on grooming and service etiquette. • Problem Resolution: Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction. • Operational Support: Assist management with inventory control, including linen, crockery, and cutlery. Required Skills & Qualifications • Experience: Generally 3–6 years in fine dining or luxury hospitality. • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong leadership, wine knowledge, and ability to work under pressure. • Education: Diploma in Hotel Management or12th pass with relevant experience.
