Over the past five decades, the Society has built and nurtured institutions across engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, fine arts, performing arts, and school education — impacting thousands of students across urban and rural communities. Rooted in integrity, access, and academic excellence, the Society is now expanding into Navi Mumbai with the launch of a premium Early Years school in Kharghar, commencing April 2026. This is not just another school opening. It is the foundation of a long-term educational vision in the region. The Opportunity We are seeking a Preschool Principal to lead the founding phase of this premium Early Years school. This role goes beyond administration. It calls for a builder. Someone who understands that the first five years shape everything that follows. Someone who can establish culture, systems, compliance, parent trust, and pedagogical clarity from day one. As Preschool Principal, you will: - Oversee daily school operations and ensure smooth functioning - Lead curriculum implementation aligned with early childhood best practices - Recruit, mentor, and develop teaching and support staff - Engage meaningfully with parents and build a strong school community - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (RTE 2009, POCSO 2012, and other relevant state/central statutes) - Build systems, policies, and processes aligned with a premium positioning - Uphold the highest standards of safety, child protection, and governance Who We’re Looking For - A recognised Early Childhood Education qualification (Master’s preferred) - Minimum 3 years in a leadership role within a preschool (independent school experience preferred) - Strong knowledge of child development and early years pedagogy - Experience managing teams, budgets, and operational planning - Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and safeguarding norms - Calm, decisive leadership style with strong communication skills - A genuine commitment to holistic child development Why This Role Matters This is a founding leadership position.
