Senior Claims Manager - Commercial Lines (India)

Role: Senior Manager – Commercial Lines Claims Industry Type: General Insurance Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager for Commercial Lines Claims to join our Riverbank Insurance Brokers Team. - Presentations to clients on claims capability and claims management, Involvement in GAP Analysis - Involvement in Factory visit for Risk Inspection and subsequent Implementation. - To mentor and coach commercial claims team and provide regular feedback and training. - Manage and oversee the handling of complex commercial claims, including property, Burglary, marine and workers’ compensation policies. - Ensure claims are handled in compliance with Insurance company policies, industry standards, & regulations. - Connecting with Surveyors & Insurer’s Claim Handlers. - Recommending Property Value-added services (VAS programs) and driving their implementation viz. Electrical Audit and Thermography. - Act as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive claims issues. Requirements and skills - Proven experience of around 12 to 15 years in Commercial Lines – Claims handling. - Positive comprehensive knowledge of insurance products including Property Insurance, Liability Insurance, etc. - Excellent skills in presentations, communication, negotiation and problem solving. - Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and claims management systems. - Minimum Education criteria: Graduation in any stream, MBA will be an added advantage.
