About The Opportunity Join our growing and dynamic team as a Business Development Intern and gain hands-on experience in real-world business development activities. This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about sales, client engagement, and business strategy. You will work closely with the sales and management teams to identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and contribute to business growth. Role: Business Development Intern This internship provides exposure to the complete business development cycle, including lead generation, client communication, market research, and sales support. You will collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that support the company's growth. Key Responsibilities • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities • Assist in lead generation through online platforms, networking, and outreac • Support the sales team in contacting prospects through calls, emails, and messages • Maintain and update customer and lead information in CRM systems • Conduct market research and competitor analysis • Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and reports • Coordinate with internal teams to support client requirements • Track sales activities and support follow-ups with potential clients What You Will Learn And Accomplish • Understand the end-to-end business development process • Gain practical experience in lead generation and client communication • Learn how companies analyze markets and identify new opportunities • Improve sales, negotiation, and presentation skills • Work with CRM tools and business analytics • Develop professional communication and teamwork skills Outcomes & Success Metrics To ensure clarity on expected results and to help you track progress, the internship includes measurable outcomes and performance indicators. • Lead Generation: Generate and qualify a minimum of 20 new leads per month with proper CRM documentation. • Outreach Activity: Complete at least 50 outreach activities per month (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages). • Conversion Support: Assist in progressing at least 5 qualified leads into meetings, demos, or proposal requests • CRM Accuracy: Maintain CRM records with high accuracy including interaction notes and status updates. • Market Research: Prepare at least one market or competitor research report with insights and recommendations. • Proposal Contribution: Support the preparation of client proposals or presentations. • Professional Development: Show improvement in communication, teamwork, and business understanding. • Attendance & Responsiveness: Maintain consistent attendance and timely task completion. Evaluation & Completion Criteria • Regular Check-ins: Weekly or bi-weekly reviews with mentors to track progress. Mid-term Review: Performance check during the internship period. • Final Evaluation: Based on performance, deliverables, professionalism, and completion of assigned responsibilities. Successful interns will receive an internship certificate and may be considered for future opportunities based on performance. Eligibility & Requirements • Education:Candidates who are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. • Experience Level:Open to freshers and students. Prior internships, academic projects, or campus activities related to sales or marketing are an added advantage but not mandatory. • Communication Skills:Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members. • Technical Skills:Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, email platforms, and collaboration tools. Knowledge of CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce is a plus. • Analytical Skills:Basic understanding of market research and the ability to gather information and prepare simple reports. • Work Habits:Organized, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced professional environment. Preferred Qualifications • Prior internships or part-time experience in sales, lead generation, telecalling, or customer support • Coursework or certifications in sales, digital marketing, or CRM tools • Familiarity with tools like Mailchimp or LinkedIn Sales Navigator • Basic presentation and proposal preparation skills • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus • Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset Compensation & Internship Details • Stipend: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month • Location: Warangal, Telangana • Internship Duration: Minimum 3 Months • Work Mode: Work from Office • Working Days: Rotational 6 days work week • Working Hours: As per company schedule Additional Benefits: Internship certificate upon successful completion and potential opportunity for a full-time role based on performance.
