Senior Level SAP FICO Consultant

Job Description: Senior SAP FICO Consultant Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead financial transformation initiatives, drive system optimization, and provide expert guidance on SAP Finance and Controlling modules. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver end-to-end solutions that enhance financial performance and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Lead SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and support projects across diverse industries. • Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, and design workshops with business stakeholders. • Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, CO-OM, Product Costing, etc.). • Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR) and external systems. • Provide expert support for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. • Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with ABAP developers. • Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory requirements. • Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge transfer to client teams. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best practices. Required Skills & Experience • 8–12 years of SAP FICO consulting experience, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations. • Strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes. • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, Central Finance). • Deep understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PP, and HR. • Proficiency in business process mapping, configuration, and testing. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work with executive stakeholders and translate business needs into SAP solutions. • Exposure to taxation, treasury, and consolidation tools is a plus. Educational Background • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology. • Professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA, or SAP FICO certification) preferred.
