SAP BW Technical Consultant Experience 3 to 6 years

As an SAP BW Technical Consultant, you will: • Provide day-to-day support for SAP BW systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with end-users and cross-functional teams • Monitor system health proactively and take preventive measures to avoid disruptions • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements and optimizations to existing SAP BW solutions • Optimize ETL processes to improve data processing efficiency and system performance • Implement industry best practices and standards to enhance SAP BW functionality 2. What You Bring to the Table: • 3–6 years of hands-on experience as an SAP BW Technical Consultant • Strong expertise in SAP BW data modeling, including InfoCubes, DataStore Objects (DSOs), InfoObjects, and related structures • Solid understanding of ETL processes within SAP BW • Experience in developing and supporting reporting and analytics solutions • Proficiency with reporting tools such as SAP BusinessObjects and/or SAP Analytics Cloud • Exposure to SAP BW on HANA is a plus • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline • SAP BW certification is a plus but not mandatory 3. You Should Possess the Ability to: • Translate business requirements into effective SAP BW technical solutions • Design and maintain accurate, consistent, and scalable data models • Apply dimensional modeling and star schema techniques for optimized reporting • Integrate data between SAP BW, SAP ERP systems, external databases, and third-party applications • Create and enhance BI queries, reports, and dashboards that deliver actionable insights • Maintain detailed technical documentation and provide training to end-users • Continuously monitor system performance and implement tuning techniques to resolve bottlenecks • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders 4.
