Job Purpose The Farm Manager is responsible for supporting and managing daily farm operations to ensure efficient crop production and farm maintenance. The role includes supervising farm workers, assisting in planning agricultural activities, monitoring crop health, and ensuring smooth execution of farming operations while following sustainable and safe farming practices. 2. Key Responsibilities • Assist in planning and executing crop production activities such as planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting. • Supervise farm workers and ensure daily farm tasks are completed efficiently. • Monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and pest or disease issues. • Support the management and maintenance of farm machinery, irrigation systems, and farm infrastructure. • Maintain basic records related to farm production, expenses, and inventory. • Assist in procurement of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural inputs. • Ensure proper use of farming equipment and adherence to safety standards. • Stay on the farm to monitor operations and handle daily farm management activities. 3. Qualifications • B.Sc. in Agriculture (Mandatory). 4. Experience • 0–2 years of experience in farming or agricultural operations. 5. Key Skills and Competencies • Basic knowledge of crop cultivation and agricultural practices. • Ability to supervise farm labour and manage daily farm activities. • Willingness to learn and apply modern farming techniques. • Good problem-solving and observation skills. • Ability to work outdoors and stay on the farm premises.
