Venue: Dayanand Sagar Hospital Harohalli, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore Karnataka-562112 Typical duties of the job include • *Patient Monitoring & Assessment:** Continuously monitoring, assessing, and recording patient vital signs, neurological status (GCS), and hemodynamics at least hourly or as required.**Direct Bedside Care:** Delivering specialized care including, but not limited to, wound care, suctioning, ventilator management, IV fluid/medication administration, and nutritional support (enteral/parenteral).**Emergency Response:** Recognizing and responding to cardiac arrests, respiratory failure, or rapid deterioration, often initiating CPR or advanced life support measures.**Procedural Assistance:** Assisting physicians with bedside procedures like central line insertion, intubation, chest tube insertion, and lumbar punctures.**Documentation & Reporting:** Maintaining accurate, detailed, and up-to-date ICU charts (intake/output, medication, ventilator settings) and informing doctors of any significant changes in condition.**Infection Control & Safety:** Adhering strictly to infection control protocols (hand hygiene, sterile technique), managing, and preventing risks like bedsores (turning every 2 hours).**Collaboration & Advocacy:** Coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team and acting as a patient advocate to support their wishes in critical situations.**Support & Communication:** Providing regular updates to doctors, patients, and their families, offering emotional support in high-stress situations.**Equipment Management:** Ensuring the proper working condition of ventilators, monitors, infusions pumps, and other specialized equipment.*Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications** Qualification: GNM/B.Sc Nursing Experience: 1-5yrs in ICU KNC Registration is Mandatory.
