Position Summary We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Recruiter & HR Executive to take on a dual-function leadership role. This position combines full-cycle recruitment responsibilities — spanning both school-based and in-house staffing — with the broader strategic and operational duties of an HR Executive. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, a champion of documentation best practices, and a trusted HR advisor capable of managing people operations at an executive level. Recruitment ResponsibilitiesSchool-Based Recruitment • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for academic, administrative, counseling, and support staff positions across assigned schools and educational institutions. • Partner with school principals, department heads, and district administrators to understand staffing needs, timelines, and compliance requirements. • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates ensuring alignment with curriculum needs and school culture. • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and reference checks in line with school calendars and board-mandated procedures. • Maintain accurate records of all school recruitment activities including pipelines, feedback, and onboarding documentation. • Ensure all school hiring adheres to regulatory, accreditation, and child-safeguarding standards. In-House Recruitment • Lead end-to-end recruitment for internal corporate and operational roles including HR, finance, IT, administration, and management positions. • Collaborate with department managers to define job requirements, competency frameworks, and selection criteria. • Manage job postings across internal and external platforms; build and maintain talent pipelines. • Conduct competency-based screening interviews and present shortlisted candidates with detailed evaluation summaries to hiring managers. • Negotiate and extend offers in coordination with HR leadership and approved compensation structures. • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices within all recruitment processes. HR Executive ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & Operations • Support the development and execution of the HR strategy in alignment with organizational and school goals. • Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior management and school leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development. • Contribute to the design and review of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. • Oversee the performance management cycle including goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals. • Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution with sensitivity and compliance. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle • Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for new hires across school and in-house functions. • Manage employee lifecycle processes including probation reviews, contract renewals, transfers, and offboarding. • Monitor employee engagement and retention, recommending initiatives to improve workplace culture and satisfaction. Communication & Stakeholder Management • Serve as a central point of contact for candidates, employees, school administrators, and department heads on all HR and recruitment matters. • Communicate proactively with stakeholders on recruitment progress, HR updates, and policy changes. • Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community outreach initiatives as required. • Prepare and deliver clear HR briefings, presentations, and reports to senior leadership. Documentation & Compliance • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve all HR and recruitment documentation including job descriptions, interview guides, offer letters, contracts, and policy documents. • Ensure all HR activities comply with relevant employment legislation, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR/local equivalents), and organizational policies. • Maintain up-to-date Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS records with high accuracy and consistency. • Prepare and present regular recruitment metrics, HR dashboards, and workforce reports to leadership. • Oversee background checks, credential verification, and pre-employment screening documentation. Qualifications & RequirementsEducation • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. • A postgraduate qualification in HR Management or a relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD Level 5/7) is strongly preferred. Experience • 6+ years of progressive HR and recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or executive-level role. • Demonstrated experience in education or school-sector recruitment is highly desirable. • Proven ability to manage simultaneous in-house, school-based, and HR operational responsibilities. • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms such as Workday, Greenhouse, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar. Skills & Competencies • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels, from candidates to C-suite executives. • Excellent documentation skills with a meticulous approach to process design, record-keeping, and compliance. • Strong organizational and time management ability to handle high-volume, multi-stakeholder workloads effectively. • Skilled in behavioral, competency-based, and structured interviewing methodologies. • Sound knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and educational staffing regulations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/recruitment technology platforms. • High degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling confidential information. • Collaborative leader with the confidence to work autonomously and influence across the organization.
