Application Test Engineer (Industrial Area)

Headquartered in Boston, USA SecLogic is building AI Powered Cloud Application Detection & Response (CADR) platform covering reactive & proactive security for the Cloud & Kubernetes environments. The platform analyze & respond to threats & attacks leveraging both technical & business risks and provide holistic & contextual risk and security gaps with hyper remediations. Position: QA Tester: Web Application Requirements: ∙ B.Tech or Higher ∙ 2 to 3 years of rock solid experience in testing web application developed using Python/Django. ∙ Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in testing SAAS application. ∙ Experience in project management and QA methodology. ∙ Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus. ∙ In-depth knowledge and hands-on in Manual and Automated testing using Selenium or equivalent tools. ∙ Working experience of defect management tool JIRA ∙ Understanding of the web application testing, development methodologies, Testing Life cycle ∙ Excellent understanding of MVC design pattern and 3-layer architecture. ∙ Experience in Testing RESTful APIs. ∙ Experience with cloud-based web services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) ∙ Understanding and implementation of security and data protection. ∙ Any expertise/experience in Cyber Security will have added advantage. Responsibilities: ∙ Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility ∙ Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans ∙ Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) ∙ Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results ∙ Design and develop automation scripts ∙ Evaluate product code according to specifications ∙ Create logs to document testing phases and defects ∙ Report bugs and errors to development teams ∙ Help troubleshoot issues ∙ Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing ∙ Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. ∙ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. ∙ Communicate daily regarding status with appropriate team members. ∙ Work closely with Business Analyst [BA] to create correct test plan. ∙ Provide a necessary level of documentation as and when needed. ∙ Maintain code integrity.
